Strong market lifts Bay of Plenty rural property listings

Every part of the Bay of Plenty rural sector is performing at once, with dairy, kiwifruit and lifestyle properties flooding the market. Country Sales Manager for Bayleys Tauranga, Matt Clutterbuck, says traditionally, not everything fires at once.
“We’re having some really positive and constructive conversations at the moment with some very happy people,” he says.
Among the listings is a 12.3ha canopy G3 gold kiwifruit block near Te Teko, producing about 13,000 to 14,000 trays a hectare across two titles and selling by negotiation.
A 167ha Reporoa dairy farm milking 460 cows for about 200,000kg milksolids is for tender, closing late September, with a 40-aside herringbone shed and predominantly flat pumice country.
A 30ha lifestyle block bordering the Kaimai Forest, with an award-winning home, is also under tender.
“If you look online, the photos probably don’t do it justice.”
