'We've earned the right to grow': Tatua chair announces exit
Tatua Co-operative Dairy Company chair Stephen Allen is standing down after 23 years in the role.
The company has grown from about 80 staff and $45 million turnover when he entered the role to 480 staff and $550 million today.
“We need to earn the right to grow rather than growing for growth’s sake,” he says.
