Meet the Need delivered a record 1.27 million mince and milk meals to food banks in the past year, but demand still outstrips supply, says general manager Zellara Holden.

More than 150 food banks remain on a waiting list the charity cannot yet support.

“If everybody donates a small portion, the impact is huge,” she says.

Farmers are able to give through milk cheques or livestock.
