A US decision on injury in the lamb investigation is likely in November, with the remedy decision early next year.

Diana Reaich, Associate Deputy Director-General of Trade and International Relations at MPI says the government is putting its case forward and respecting the formal process.

She says the Paris Agreement targets are written into the UK and EU free trade agreements.

“Pulling out of the Paris Agreement, that’s a political decision, but it’s not without risk in terms of those commitments.”
