A New Zealand-developed hunting app is about to go a step further than telling hunters which block to head into, predicting the exact spot within it where game animals are most likely to be. WildVision uses AI, weather and terrain data to identify huntable areas, and its new animal location intelligence tool launches in the US this month before coming to New Zealand and Australia.

Founder and chief executive Oscar Goodman says the biggest factor in a hunter’s success is where they look.

“Everything draws back to knowing where to look first,” he says.

The app has been available in New Zealand since November.

“It costs less than the price of a cup of coffee a month.”
