Farms lack the AI protocols that banks and big corporations already wrap around their data, says James Allen, CEO of AgFirst.

He says the gaps show up in ordinary decisions.

“Are you paying for a paid subscription, which does give you an extra layer of security?” he says.

He wants farmers thinking about where their backups sit.

“We’re still losing quite a lot of IP as farm managers move on.”

His firm discloses when it uses AI, using it to speed work rather than change advice.
