Dairy Woman of the Year nominations open for its 15th year
Fonterra suppliers and non-suppliers alike can be nominated for the 2027 Fonterra Dairy Woman of the Year.

Nominations are open for the 2027 Fonterra Dairy Woman of the Year, the award’s 15th year.
Dairy Women’s Network (DWN) trustee and 2027 head judge Jenna Smith says the award looks for women making a difference in their communities and the wider dairy sector. “Being busy isn’t the same as making a difference and that’s what we like to distil with this award,” she says.
She says nominees don’t need to be Fonterra suppliers, but they need to be DWN members.
She says judges weigh each nominee’s vision for the sector’s future.
The recipient receives a scholarship to the Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme.
“Think beyond the obvious names, consider the women that are leading those changes on their own farms and in their own businesses and their communities.”
