Environmental progress, international accords, biosecurity and exports drew agreement across the parties at the Federated Farmers Rural Issues Debate last night. Waikato dairy farmer Pete Morgan says the lack of clarity on land and wealth tax at the debate is one of the areas of concern for farmers.

“That part was nice to see them being pragmatic rather than actually try and go for cheap shots,” he says.
