Stock Prices and Availability
Unless otherwise stated, all prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%. Prices, specifications and availability are subject to change without notice. Overseas prices do not include GST.
If an item is not yet available when you order, we will let you know the manufacturers expect release date. You may withdraw your order if you do not wish to wait. Certain goods may be at the end of a line or have limited time available for purchase. CountryWide Media Limited cannot guarantee products will always be available when you place your order. All specials and promotions are limited to stock on hand or items ordered within a specified time frame.
Payment and Title
New Zealand Orders
Payment for online orders shall be made by credit card (American Express, Visa & MasterCard), Shareholders Card (Farmlands Card, CRT Card, PGG Wrightson AmEX & RD1 Supercard) prior to dispatch of goods.
Payment for telephone orders may be made by credit card (American Express, Visa & MasterCard), Shareholders Card (Farmlands Card, CRT Card, PGG Wrightson AmEX & RD1 supercard) direct credit or cleared cheque prior to dispatch of goods.
Overseas Orders
Orders received from overseas must be paid by credit card only (American Express, Visa & MasterCard).
Any currency conversion will be at the rate applicable at the time your card is debited.
Incorrect Bank Account Number
CountryWide Media Limited gives the customer the choice to pay for products through direct credit. If the Customer credits money to the incorrect bank account number, and the correct number was provided to the Customer by CountryWide Media Limited, then CountryWide Media Limited will not accept any responsibility for correcting payment and the goods will not be dispatched
Mailing Cash
CountryWide Media Limited does not recommend that cash be mailed for payment of products. If the Customer does mail cash, CountryWide Media Limited accepts no responsibility for the theft, loss or otherwise non-delivery of mailed cash. Should payment for supply of goods or services be outside of, or beyond, our payment terms you will be liable for all costs, fees, damages, and expenses including legal costs (on a full indemnity basis) and all other fees incurred by us in recovering the amount outstanding. Ownership of the goods remains with CountryWide Media Limited and does not pass to you until we receive all amounts you owe to us.
Delivery
Dispatch and Delivery shall be in accordance with our Delivery Policy.
Delivery Policy
Products ordered from the website will be dispatched within five (5) business days of receipt of the order. If the product is unavailable, CountryWide Media Limited reserves the right to replace the ordered product with a similar product.
Force Majeure
Should CountryWide Media Limited be delayed in or prevented from making delivery owing to any cause whatsoever beyond CountryWide Media Limited’s control, then CountryWide Media Limited shall be at liberty to cancel or suspend the order without incurring liability for any loss or damage resulting therefrom.
Refunds and Returns
No returns are accepted and no refunds will be given.
Privacy Policy

Communications
By creating an account with CountryWide Media Limited you consent to receiving electronic communications from CountryWide Media Limited. These communications will include: account status updates, order status updates, promotional and marketing materials, and other information relating to the service. Your personal details will not be made available to any third party.
Copyright
This website and Trademarks, Patents and associated content and material owned by CountryWide Media Limited is protected by copyright. Unauthorised use of any content is strictly prohibited and may infringe on intellectual property rights held by CountryWide Media Limited. Copyright of some material may be held by the suppliers of CountryWide Media Limited, in which case the suppliers retain all rights.
Consumer Guarantees Act
If you are purchasing or holding yourself out as purchasing the Products for a business purpose, then the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand) are excluded from any supply agreement and to the extent permitted by law, all statutory or implied conditions, warranties and guarantees which would apply are expressly excluded.
Waiver
If we fail to enforce any terms or to exercise our rights under these terms and conditions at any time, we have not waived those rights.
Severability
If in the event that any part of these terms and conditions will be determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable for any reason, such terms and conditions will be severed from the remaining terms and conditions which will be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
The use of this website and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Laws of New Zealand. Any legal action arising out of its use shall be brought and enforced under the Laws of New Zealand shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice.
CountryWide Media Advertising Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Services
1.1 CountryWide Media accepts advertisements for publication and broadcast across its media platforms, including:
- Print publications (for example – display advertising, stitched inserts, loose inserts, gate-folds)
- Digital platforms (for example – websites, podcasts, social media, email newsletters)
- Radio broadcasting (for example – commercial spots, live reads, sponsorships, branded content)
1.2 These Terms and Conditions apply to all advertising booked with CountryWide Media, whether in print, digital, or radio formats.
2. Agreement
2.1 These Terms and Conditions, together with booking confirmations, constitute the entire agreement between the client and CountryWide Media.
2.2 Acceptance of any advertising quote, product, or service constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.3 In the event of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and a Booking Agreement, the Booking Agreement will prevail unless expressly agreed otherwise.
3. Indemnity
3.1 The client indemnifies CountryWide Media against all losses, damages, costs, or claims arising from:
- The placement, content, or broadcast of the client’s advertisement
- Breach of these Terms and Conditions
- Any corrections or amendments made to advertisements in accordance with these Terms
4. CountryWide Media’s Rights
4.1 CountryWide Media may, at its discretion:
- Cancel, reject, or refuse to publish/broadcast any advertisement before or after publication/broadcast, without reason (acting reasonably)
- Remove advertisements deemed objectionable, offensive, defamatory, misleading, or contrary to law or broadcasting standards
- Accept requests for restrictions (e.g. placement, timing, adjacencies), but such requests are not guaranteed
- Interrupt radio broadcasts due to technical issues, emergency announcements, or legal requirements, without liability
5. Client Warranties
The client represents and warrants that:
- CountryWide Media may reproduce supplied material across its platforms without further cost
- Advertisements comply with all applicable laws, including the Advertising Standards Authority Codes of Practice, the Fair Trading Act 1986, the Human Rights Act 1993, and relevant Broadcasting Standards
- Advertisements do not infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
- Advertisements are not misleading, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful
- Employment advertisements comply with the Human Rights Act 1993
- The client has obtained all necessary consents, approvals, and rights for broadcast/publication
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CountryWide Media will not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business, revenue, or profit
- Technical failures, broadcast interruptions, or delays beyond its reasonable control
- Any representation or warranty as to the effectiveness or impact of advertising
7. Advertising Material and Content
7.1 Client responsibilities:
- Proof-read and approve all advertisements before submission
- Provide advertising material in required formats (e.g., print-ready files, audio files in WAV format ≤6MB)
- Lodge material by the specified deadlines
7.2 CountryWide Media may
- Sign off proofs if the client fails to do so within the allocated timeframe, unless otherwise stated by the client
- Insert disclaimers such as “Advertorial” or “Sponsored by” or “In Partnership with [Client]” where necessary
- Refuse to broadcast/publish material not meeting technical or content requirements
8. Cancellations
- All cancellations must be made in writing
- Print cancellations: Not accepted after the booking deadline
- Radio cancellations: Not accepted within 10 business days of the scheduled broadcast date
- Late cancellations incur will still be charged 100% of the advertisement cost plus GST
- Failure to supply material by the deadline will be treated as cancellation, with full fees payable
9. Rates
- Advertisements are charged in accordance with the applicable Rate Card price at the time of booking confirmation unless otherwise agreed in writing
- If agreed rates are based on a specified volume of advertising and the client fails to meet that volume, the Rate Card rates will apply
- Rates are exclusive of GST unless the client provides proof of non-residency for GST purposes
10. Payment and Costs
- Credit accounts must be set up for any advertising that is to be paid on invoice otherwise cash terms of payment prior to placement is in place. This also applies to CountryWide Media being correctly set up as a vendor or supplier with the client. Any Vendor of Supplier application forms to be sent to accounts@countrywidemedia.co.nz by the booking date
- Invoices are due on the 20th of the month following the invoice date
- Any purchase order or campaign plan details that are required on the invoice are to be sent through at booking confirmation for inclusion on the invoice
- Late payments may incur interest at the Inland Revenue “use of money” rate or 5% above the prevailing overdraft rate (for radio bookings)
- Clients are liable for debt recovery costs, including legal and collection fees
- CountryWide Media may suspend or cancel advertising for non-payment and place clients on stop credit
- Intellectual property in material created by CountryWide Media remains with CountryWide Media until payment is made in full
11. Termination
CountryWide Media may terminate or suspend services if:
- The client breaches material terms and fails to remedy within 7 days of notice
- The client becomes insolvent or ceases business
- The client engages in conduct harmful to CountryWide Media’s reputation
- Payment obligations are not met
12. General
- Clients are encouraged to seek independent legal advice before accepting these Terms.
- These Terms supersede all prior agreements unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Invalid provisions will be severed without affecting the remainder.
- Governing law: New Zealand.
- Jurisdiction: Non-exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
- CountryWide Media may amend these Terms at its discretion, with amendments applying prospectively.
- Rights not enforced immediately are not waived.
- Clients may not assign these Terms without consent.
- Clauses relating to indemnity, liability, and payment survive termination.
13. Definitions
- Client: The advertiser or agency acting on behalf of the advertiser
- Advertisement: Any advertising material supplied for publication or broadcast
- Booking Agreement: Confirmation of advertising services agreed between CountryWide Media and the client
- Rate Card: Published advertising rates and deadlines
- Material Deadline: Deadline for submission of advertising material
- Campaign Start Date: Commencement date for digital or radio advertising
- Business Day: 8am–5pm, excluding weekends and public holidays
- Bad Debtor: Client failing to pay within 60 days of due date
- Stop Credit: Suspension of advertising until outstanding amounts are paid
